Federal Investigation Agency under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Interior Government of Pakistan is answerable for the administration of law and order nationally and sometimes internationally when the call. It was dispensed under the 1974 constitution act and established in January 1975.

The Federal Investigation Agency superseded Pakistan Special Police Establishment after the independence due to the growing crimes with every passing day. This agency was established to control crimes such as human trafficking, corruption, gambling, money laundering, terrorist activities, control of borderline and cyber–crimes, etc.

FPSC Jobs Advertisement No. 10 has announced these FIA vacancies. Presently, FIA is looking to recruit Inspector Investigation (BPS-16), Assistant Director Investigation (BS-17), and Assistant Director Legal (BPS-17). According to this vacancy notice, jobs are available as 149 posts of Inspector Investigation, 9 posts for Assistant Director Investigation, and 75 for Assistant Director Legal.

Inspector Investigation:

Qualifications: 2nd Class or Grade C Bachelor’s Degree from a University recognized by HEC

Age Limit: 20 to 28 Years + 5 Years General Age Relaxation

Height: 5 Feet 6 Inches for Male

Chest: 32 to 33.5 Inches for Male Only

Height for Female: 5 Feet 2 Inches

Total Vacancies: 149

Assistant Director Investigation:

Qualifications: 2nd Class or Grade C Master’s Degree from a University recognized by HEC

Age Limit: 22 to 28 Years + 5 Years General Age Relaxation

Height: 5 Feet 6 Inches for Male

Total Vacancies: 09

Assistant Director Legal:

Qualifications: 2nd Class or Grade C LLB from a University recognized by HEC

Two years post qualification experience of legal practice/prosecution working in the legal field

Age Limit: 22 to 30 Years + 5 Years General Age Relaxation

Height: 5 Feet 6 Inches for Male

Total Vacancies: 75

Desired incumbents who residents of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Ex-FATA, Gilgit Baltistan, and AJK are eligible for this recruitment. FIA Inspector Jobs are available for both genders of applications (Male/Female). Minority quota is also observed.
