Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Major Work Area: Renovation. Construction. Experience: Experience an asset. Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs). Work Setting: Residential. Specific Skills: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Load, unload and transport construction materials. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract). Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Safety glasses/goggles. Gloves. Cellular phone. Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation. Valid driver’s licence. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Tight deadlines. Work Location Information: Various locations. Personal Suitability: Effective interpersonal skills.
