Available Positions and Requirements

1. Inspector ( BDU), BS-18

The post of Inspector (BDU) is open for Ex-Servicemen who have retired from the Corps of Engineers or have served in the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) units of the Pakistan Army. The selected individuals will be responsible for managing and leading operations involving bomb disposal, explosives handling, and ensuring safety during critical situations.

Applicants should have a strong command of explosives management, technical detection, and field safety operations. Preference will be given to those holding specialised EOD qualifications or certifications in related fields. Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to supervise field teams, prepare operational reports, and maintain equipment and safety standards according to international guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria:
• Retired personnel from the Pakistan Army (Ex-Servicemen only).
• Experience in Bomb Disposal or EOD units.
• Preference for candidates holding certified EOD training or courses.
• Excellent health and physical fitness required.
• Maximum age limit: 50 years as of the closing date.
• Pay Scale: BS-18 (Contract Basis)

2. Officer (Remount Veterinary and Farms Corps – RV&FC), BS-18

The second available position is for Ex-Servicemen from the Remount Veterinary and Farms Corps (RV&FC) of the Pakistan Army. Candidates applying for this position must hold a professional degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or an equivalent qualification recognised by the relevant boards. The selected officers will oversee and manage veterinary and animal welfare operations, ensuring proper health care, breeding, and management of police service animals.

Applicants should possess extensive experience in veterinary practices, livestock management, and farm administration, with a proven record of service within the Armed Forces. Preference will be given to individuals who have managed veterinary services in large settings, supervised staff, and effectively implemented animal health programs.

Eligibility Criteria:
• Retired Ex-Servicemen from the Remount Veterinary and Farms Corps.
• DVM or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in veterinary service.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Maximum age limit: 50 years on the closing date.
• Pay Scale: BS-18 (Contract Basis)

General Terms and Conditions

The following conditions must be fulfilled by all applicants before submission of applications:

1. Only retired Ex-Servicemen with a clean and satisfactory service record are eligible to apply.
2. Candidates must submit attested copies of their service book, discharge certificate, CNIC, domicile, and educational certificates.
3. Applicants must be in good physical and mental health and medically fit for field operations.
4. Those who have been dismissed or retired on disciplinary grounds are not eligible for consideration.
5. All applications should reach the Central Police Office (CPO), Peshawar, within the due date mentioned in the advertisement.
6. Active service members currently serving in the Pakistan Armed Forces are not eligible to apply until after retirement.
7. Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained under any circumstances.
8. The selection process will include scrutiny of documents, an interview, and final approval by the departmental selection board.
9. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
10. No TA/DA will be admissible for test or interview purposes.
11. The department reserves the right to reject or cancel any application or the entire recruitment process without assigning any reason.
12. The maximum age limit for both posts is 50 years, and no relaxation in upper age limit will be granted.
13. Candidates will be selected purely on merit, experience, and suitability for the required positions.
