WAPDA Introduction:

Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority is an autonomous and independent body of the Federal Government of Pakistan which is maintaining the utilities of Water and Power in the state. It was established after the independence through an act of parliament in 1958

WAPDA owns the biggest dams of Pakistan and actively controls and operates the demands and needs of the Pakistani Commercial and Domestic sectors. It is also planning on completing five more multi-dimensional dams to cover the growing needs of the power sector.

WAPDA’s goal is focused on developing neat and clean energy that is affordable for the citizens of Pakistan to bring down the power tariff keeping in view the consumers. The company has a self-governing network throughout the country.

Eligibility Criteria:

Army Retired Officers can apply for Deputy Director Vigilance Jobs. For other positions, candidates must hold a Middle, Matriculation, and Relevant Diploma with experience in the relevant domain. The age limit is set to 18 years minimum to 30 years maximum. The experience will be preferred in these positions as the merit will be followed and ensured by the management.
