The Department of Fisheries, Government of Punjab, has announced new job opportunities for 2026 under its development project titled “Establishment of Aquaculture Malls in Punjab (2024–25 to 2026–27)”. Applications are invited from qualified, experienced, and motivated individuals for appointment on a purely contract basis under the Project Pay Scale (PPS).
These positions are initially offered for two years, extendable based on satisfactory performance and project requirements, providing an excellent opportunity to work on a major public-sector development initiative in Punjab.

The Department of Fisheries Punjab is hiring for the following posts:
Managerial Positions
- Manager Administration / HR / Business Affairs (PPS-10)
- Manager Finance (PPS-10)
Technical & Support Staff
- Equipment Technician (PPS-5)
- Electrical Technician (PPS-2)
- Chauffeur (PPS-2)
- Tractor Operator (PPS-2)
Each position is offered under a designated PPS scale with an attractive monthly salary package.
Qualification & Experience Requirements
Manager Administration / HR / Business Affairs
- MA Economics / MBA / MA Human Resource Management or equivalent
- Degree must be from an HEC-recognized university
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Manager Finance
- ACCA / CA / CFA / CIMA / CMA
- Relevant professional experience is mandatory
Equipment Technician
- DAE (Mechanical / Electrical) with relevant experience
Electrical Technician
- Matric with Electrician Certification and relevant hands-on experience
Chauffeur
- Valid LTV / HTV driving license
- Relevant driving experience
Tractor Operator
- Matric or Middle with tractor driving experience
Age Limit
- Managerial Positions: 28 to 45 years
- Technical & Support Staff: 21 to 35 years
Age Relaxation
As per Government of Punjab rules:
- 5 years for male candidates
- 8 years for female candidates
Place of Posting & Vacancies
Selected candidates will be posted at:
- Lahore
- Muzaffargarh
Multiple vacancies are available, especially for technical and operational roles in Muzaffargarh, while managerial positions are primarily based in Lahore.
Salary Package
The Department of Fisheries Punjab offers highly competitive salaries under PPS:
- Managerial Positions: Up to Rs. 600,000 per month
- Technical & Support Staff: Approximately Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 75,000 per month, depending on the post
Contract Nature
- Appointments will be made purely on a contract basis under PPS
- Contract duration is valid till June 2027
- Extendable based on performance and project needs
- These positions do not confer any right to permanent employment
