Who may apply (Eligibility summary)
- Citizenship: Pakistani nationals only.
- Age limit: Applicants must be 23 years or younger as of 27-Oct-2025. Applicants older than 23 as of that date are not eligible.
- Academic requirement: Minimum 65% marks in the relevant educational qualification where specified (see trade table below).
- Other: Candidates already undergoing apprenticeship or pursuing/holding a Graduate in Engineering / BS Technology or who have completed an apprenticeship in any industry, should not apply.

(Apply for one discipline only. Duplicate or multiple applications will be rejected.)
- Chemical Plant Operator
- F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering) OR Matric with 03-year Diploma of Associate Engineering in Chemical Technology.
- Mechanical Technician
- Matric with a 03-year Diploma of Associate Engineering in Mechanical Technology.
- Civil Technician
- Matric with a 03-year Diploma of Associate Engineering in Civil Technology.
- Electrical Technician
- Matric with a 03-year Diploma of Associate Engineering in Electrical Technology.
- Instrument Technician
- Matric with a 03-year Diploma of Associate Engineering in Electronics or Instrument Technology.
- Mechanical Draftsman
- Matric with a 02-year Diploma of Mechanical Draftsman.
- Lab Technician / Analyst
- F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering) or B.Sc. with Chemistry (Not B.Sc. Honours or Engineering).
- Technician (Refrigerator & Air Conditioning)
- Matric with 02-year Course (Ref. & Air Conditioning).
- Computer Operator
- Intermediate with Computer Science.
Note: For any trade, certificate authenticity and percentage/marks will be verified at subsequent stages.

Application fee & payment
- Written test fee: Rs. 650/– (six hundred fifty rupees).
- Payment channels: 1Link / 1Bill participating banks, ATMs, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash, TCS Express Counters.
- Important: Follow the exact fee submission instructions provided on the NTS website during application — failure to pay correctly may invalidate your application.

How to apply — Step-by-step (online)
- Prepare documents and information (see checklist below).
- Visit the official NTS application portal: Click Here
- Create an NTS account (if you do not already have one) or log in to your existing NTS profile.
- Locate the Fatima Fertilizer / Apprenticeship advertisement and click the provided “Apply Online” link.
- Select exactly one trade for which you meet the qualification and eligibility criteria.
- Complete the online application form: enter personal details, educational history, and contact information accurately.
- Upload scanned copies of required documents (see checklist). Ensure files meet NTS size/format requirements.
- Pay the test fee (Rs. 650) through the available listed payment channels and keep the payment receipt / transaction ID.
- Submit the application and save/print the confirmation page or download the application PDF for your records.
- Regularly check your email and NTS account for test roll number, test date, venue, and further instructions.
Documents to have ready (Checklist)
- CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) or B-Form (if applicable).
- Academic certificates and detailed marksheets (Matric, F.Sc., Diploma, Intermediate, B.Sc. as applicable).
- Diploma certificates (e.g., DAE, Draftsman certificates) where required.
- Any equivalence certificates (if applicable).
- Passport-size photograph (recent) in the format required by NTS.
- Payment receipt or transaction ID for test fee.
- Hope certificate / College/Institute certificate only if appearing in Part-II and allowed as per advertisement (if applicable).
Important conditions & notes
- Apply for one discipline only. Duplicate and incomplete applications will not be entertained.
- False information or forged documents will result in disqualification at any stage.
- Only short-listed candidates will be called for interviews or further processing.
- Written test will be conducted at multiple NTS locations nearest to candidates. The roll number slip will indicate the exact city/center.
- Candidates undergoing or who have completed apprenticeship programs elsewhere or those pursuing higher engineering degrees must not apply.
- Ensure you meet the minimum required marks (65% where specified); failure to meet the marks after submission of any provisional/hope certificate may lead to disqualification.
Deadlines & timeline
- Last date for online submission of applications: 27-October-2025 (strictly).
- Test fee payment & application submission must be completed on or before this date.
- Keep checking NTS portal and your email after submission for updates (roll number slips, test schedule).
After you apply — what to expect
- NTS will publish roll number slips for the written test on their website; download and print your slip.
- Attend the written test at the designated NTS center on the scheduled date (bring original CNIC and printed roll number slip).
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for subsequent stages (interview/skill test/medical) as per Fatima Fertilizer/NTS process.
- Final selection will be subject to document verification, medical fitness, and other internal checks.
Practical tips & reminders
- Read the advertisement carefully and confirm you meet both age & educational percentage requirements before applying.
- Upload clear, legible scanned copies of certificates. Blurred or incomplete uploads may lead to rejection.
- Keep digital and physical copies of payment receipts and confirmation pages.
- Arrive at the test center early with all required documents on the test day.
- Do not attempt to submit multiple applications; NTS may blacklist duplicate applicants.
