Education: Bachelor’s degree. Experience with Special Needs Children: Autistic children. Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Experience: No experience. Children’s Ages: Toddler to pre-school (1 – 3 years). School age (6 – 12 years). Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Work Setting: Employer’s home. Specific Skills: Tend to emotional well-being of children. Supervise and care for children. Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Organize, activities such as games and outings for children.
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children. Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development. Bathe, dress and feed infants and children. Prepare infants and children for rest periods. Target Audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children. Security and Safety: Criminal record check. Vulnerable sector check. Work Site Environment: Non-smoking. Scent free. Transportation/Travel Information: Travel expenses paid by employer.
