How you will make an impact
– Code documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes
– Assist with general accounting tasks, including G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other ad hoc projects
– Process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipts, and help with collection of past due balances to support Accounts Receivable
– Post financial information to journals and ledgers
– Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
– Assist accounts payable with vendor invoices and disbursement filing and with A/P invoice matching & filing
– Use a variety of sources to prepare statements and reports
– Resolve discrepancies by examining possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts; generate correction documents as required
Requirements
– Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical
– AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
– Strong familiarity with NetSuite
– Accounts Payable (AP) experience
– Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
– Microsoft Excel experience
– Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP system
