Good news for Fulbright applicants currently attending or teaching at HEC approved public universities in Pakistan! The cost of your GRE may be reimbursed by USEFP if you achieve a good score. When we receive your complete application along with your official GRE scores, you may request a reimbursement if you have achieved the combined score according to below criteria:

Scholarship: USEFP Fulbright Scholarship for BA MA & Ph.D. 2021.
Eligibility: Pakistani nationals are eligible to apply.
Degree Programs: BA MA and Ph.D.
Scholarship Type: Fully Funded.

Eligibility Criteria
Pakistani citizens, residing and working in Pakistan, with strong academic histories in all disciplines except clinical medicine are welcome to apply.
In addition to academic work, persons selected for Fulbright programs are expected to share information about Pakistani life and culture with their U.S. colleagues and with community groups in the U.S. On returning to Pakistan, Fulbright grantees are expected to share their U.S. experiences with colleagues and community groups in Pakistan. Successful candidates should be poised to assume leadership positions in their fields and must be committed to returning and serving Pakistan.
Eligibility Criteria for USEFP Fulbright BA MS and Ph.D. Scholarship
Pakistani nationals/citizens residing in Pakistan with experience and strong academic history are encouraged to apply.
Selected Pakistani students are expected to share and promote Pakistani culture and life with U.S. citizens and colleagues.
Students should be committed to return to Pakistan and show leadership in their fields and serve Pakistan.
Following are the requirements to apply for USEFP Scholarship 2021-2022:
Three reference letters.
An application form.
Applicants GRE Schore report.
How does the selection process work?
Selection process has four stages:
Round 1: All applications are screened for completeness and minimum qualifications.
Round 2: Complete applications that meet the minimum qualifications are evaluated according to a set of established criteria and shortlisted.
Round 3: In-person or virtual interviews of short-listed applicants take place between July and September. The interview panels are made up of both U.S. and Pakistani citizens.
Round 4: Final candidates and alternates are selected in October. Applicants who have become finalists or alternates will be notified by e-mail and official acceptance letter. Those who do not get selected are notified only by mail.
Final approval is given by the Foreign Scholarship Board in Washington, D.C.
