Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority Jobs 2025

The Punjab Enforcement & Regulatory Authority (PERA) has been established under the Punjab Enforcement & Regulation Act, 2024, by the Government of Punjab (GoPb). The purpose of PERA is to strengthen and streamline enforcement activities across Punjab to ensure effective implementation of special laws and improve governance.

PERA invites applications from qualified, dynamic, energetic, and motivated individuals for the post of Investigation Officer (IO). This role plays a key part in ensuring transparency, compliance, and the effective enforcement of regulations across the province.

Available Position

1. Investigation Officer (IO) – (BS-11)

Total Posts: 104 (including 90 previously advertised)
Allowances: Special PERA Allowance (not applicable during training period)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) or an equivalent 16-year education.
• Minimum 2nd Division from any HEC-recognised university.

Physical Standards

For Male Candidates:

• BMI: Up to 27
• Minimum Height: 170 cm
• One Mile Running: Must be completed within 8 minutes
• Chest Measurement:
  • Non-expanded: 34 inches
  • Expanded: 36 inches (Minimum 2-inch expansion is mandatory)

For Female Candidates:

• BMI: Up to 27
• Minimum Height: 160 cm
• One Mile Running: Must be completed within 12 minutes
• Chest Measurement: Not applicable
• Visual Standards: 6/6 with or without glasses

Note: Candidates with colour blindness are not eligible.

Age Limit

• 22 to 28 years
• No relaxation in age will be granted, including to Government Servants.

Domicile & Posting

• Domicile: Must be from Punjab (Merit shall be calculated on a divisional basis).
• Place of Posting: Anywhere within the applicant’s concerned division.

Important Instructions for Candidates Who Already Applied

• Applicants who previously applied for the Investigation Officer position against IPL No. 2935 (dated 26-06-2025) do not need to reapply.
