PEEF Scholarship

The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF), under the guidance of the Board of Directors is providing opportunities to needy and talented students to fulfill their dreams and aspirations and at the same time to become partners in the development and welfare of Pakistan.

Objectives

PEEF has been established to promote academic excellence by providing financial support to talented and needy students to help them realize their potential.

This program envisages developing the overall personality of students and creating a critical mass of talented students who will contribute to the development of society.

The following are the four (4) major objectives of PEEF:

Scholarship for talented and less privileged students to bring them on par with the more fortunate ones. Creation of a critical mass of talented youth for the development of society. Identification and support to extremely marginalized students through special quotas.

Supporting the less privileged and best students of the Punjab Board for Technical Education (PBTE), and other provinces

Including Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK), Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), and Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Special Education Scholarship for Intermediate and Graduation

Master Level Scholarships

PEEF has allocated 20% of its annual scholarship quota for Master’s Level Education.

These scholarships are awarded to talented and deserving students enrolled in partner universities and government postgraduate colleges of Punjab.

To be considered eligible for PEEF Master’s level scholarships; the student must fulfill the following eligibility criteria. For the last date to apply visit the PEEF website.

Special Education Scholarship

If you have passed the matric or intermediate examination in the year and you belong to any special quota category then you can apply for the Special Quota Education Scholarship of the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund.

Orphaned students whose fathers have died

Special (handicapped) students

Children of Government Servants in Grades 4-1 (One to Four).

Children of civilians killed in terrorist attacks

Students belonging to minority religions

Other Eligibility Conditions

Students who have secured at least (60%) marks in the Matric/Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education or Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.

Only students of the Federal Government and Private registered institutions located within the boundaries of Punjab province are eligible to apply.

Enrolled in a full-time (regular) registered educational institution in Intermediate or Graduation. The total monthly income of the parents should be Rs 35,000 or less.

Grade 4 – Children of Government Servants in Grade 1 (One to Four) are exempted from the requirement of Rs 35,000 per month income (if the source of income is the salary only).

Children of civilians martyred in terrorist attacks are exempted from the income requirement.

Application Procedure

Eligible students can apply online at https://student.peef.org.pk/specialquotaRegistrationIn case of providing wrong information or an incomplete application, the application will be rejected and the applicant will not be authorized to take any action.

Nine t

Students who have passed the examination under (PBTE / TEVTA) are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. Students from other provinces including ICT and AJK are also not eligible to apply.

Discounted (Marks/Marks) (Ampro/Repeat) students are not eligible to apply.

Scholarship Stipend

The following monthly scholarship stipend rates are admissible for the year 2017-18.

Payment of 100% tuition fees (As per PEEF Master’s level scholarship policy)

PEEF will also pay a scholarship stipend to the selected scholars at the following rates.

Day scholar PKR. 3,000/- per month.

Border PKR. 5,000/- per month.

Disbursement of Scholarship Stipends

PEEF scholarship stipends are disbursed on a biannual basis.

The calculation of tuition fees is made based on information provided by the Partner University / Government postgraduate college.

The next scholarship installment will only be released based on an acknowledgment of the previous scholarship stipend and a satisfactory academic performance assessment report submitted by the university/government postgraduate college.

Duration of the Scholarships

PEEF scholarships are awarded till the completion of the degree course the student is enrolled in. However, if the student fails to maintain the required / satisfactory academic performance level, or is involved in any non-disciplinary act, the University/ government postgraduate college and/or the PEEF, reserves the right to cancel the scholarship award.
