
The Pakistan Marine Academy has announced admissions for the 64th Batch of Cadets for the session 2026-27 in the Nautical (Deck) and Marine Engineering branches. Unmarried male citizens of Pakistan who are under 20 years of age by 31st December 2025 (with a one-year age relaxation for candidates from FATA, Gilgit Baltistan, AJK, and Balochistan) and have passed F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) or A-Level with at least 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are eligible to apply.
Candidates must undergo a rigorous selection process that includes an entrance test, medical examination, physical efficiency test (PET), and a final interview. Selected cadets will undergo two years of residential training at the Pakistan Marine Academy in Karachi, and upon completion, they will be awarded an Associate Degree in Nautical Science or Marine Engineering by NED University of Engineering & Technology, along with IMO-recognized certificates. A total of 33 need-based scholarships are also available, with a special quota for underprivileged provinces.
The last date to submit the application form is 25th July 2025, and the entrance test will be conducted on 10th August 2025. Interested candidates can download the application form from the PMA website and submit it via courier with a bank draft of Rs. 4,000.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Unmarried male citizens of Pakistan.
- Age must not exceed 20 years as of 31 December 2025.
(Candidates from FATA, Gilgit Baltistan, AJK, Balochistan get 1-year relaxation – up to 21 years) - Academic Qualification:
- F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) or A-Level with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (minimum 55% marks).
- O/A-Level students must provide an Equivalence Certificate.
- F.Sc/A-Level Part-II candidates can apply with at least 60% in Part-I (with Hope Certificate).
- Note: If final marks fall below 55%, the candidate will be disqualified.
