The Government of Pakistan’s National School of Public Policy (NSPP), through its subsidiary institution, the National Institute of Public Policy (NIPP), has officially opened applications for the 5th Internship Program, commencing from 8th December 2025. This internship is an exceptional opportunity for young graduates and postgraduate students who are passionate about public policy, governance, research, and leadership development.

About the Internship Program

The internship program at NIPP is a structured, research-based learning experience that offers interns direct exposure to Pakistan’s policymaking process. Under the guidance of experienced policy experts, researchers, and administrators, selected interns will actively contribute to ongoing research projects, analytical studies, and governance reviews conducted by the institute.

Program Details

Duration: 2 Months
Timings: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Mode: On-site Internship at the National School of Public Policy, Lahore
Stipend: Paid Internship

This full-time internship requires complete dedication for the program duration. Interns will be expected to follow a fixed schedule, engage in research discussions, and deliver project-based outputs during their tenure.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates interested in applying must meet the following conditions:

• Must hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or MPhil degree in any discipline. Preference will be given to candidates from Social Sciences or related fields such as Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, or Governance Studies.
• Must demonstrate strong academic performance and research aptitude.
• Must be available for full-time commitment during the internship duration.
• Should have a passion for learning about governance, policy development, and public administration.
• Students awaiting their final results are also encouraged to apply if they can provide transcripts up to the most recent semester.
