The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Pakistan, is seeking applications for a range of jobs across various departments. This recruitment drive aims to fill numerous vacant positions from BPS-1 to BPS-15. The Ministry is looking for skilled, committed, and skilled people for their staff to assist in the country’s diplomatic efforts. The deadline for applying for these roles is the 2nd of July 2024.

1. The Cypher Assistant (BPS-15)

· Age Limit 18-30 Years (including 5 years of general relaxation)
· Qualifications :
o Graduation is a must, especially at the level of Mathematics and Statistics.
o Experience with computer applications.
o Minimum speed for typing of 30 w.p.m. A shorthand-specific knowledge is preferable.

o Intermediate.
o A minimum speed is 80/40 w.p.m in typing/shorthand or typing.

o 3 weeks of basic IT training Program (including MS Office) from NITB before the end of the probationary period.

General Terms and Conditions

1. Only qualified participants are selected to take the test in writing.
2. Only applicants who are shortlisted are invited to an interview according to the rules and policies.
3. Five years of general time relaxation in age are included within the limits listed. Any other age relaxations are granted as per the regulations of the Government.
4. The application form is completed directly via the National Job Portal website (Click Here).
5. Government employees may apply via the correct channels and are required to provide an NOC before the date of the interview.
6. A candidate can apply for more than one position by submitting separate applications for each position.
7. Ministry of Foreign Affairs employees who work on a contract or contingent basis are entitled to age relaxation as well as extra marks according to the rules of the Government.
8. Shortlisted candidates must present original documents along with attested copies of degrees/certificates issued by HEC/recognized boards/universities/institutes at the time of the interview.
9. False or fraudulent information on the application form or fake documents can result in the denial of candidature and possible legal actions.
10. It is the Ministry’s discretion to terminate the recruitment process or increase or decrease the number of positions in the event of need without giving any reason.
11. No TA/DA is provided for the test or interview.
12. Applications must be made through the online portal before 2 July 2024. Complete applications or those submitted before the deadline are not eligible for consideration.
