Roles and
Responsibilities:

To be
successful as a Production In-charge should be an independent thinker and keen
problem-solver.

Planning and
organizing production schedules in MS project.

Supervising the
manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient
manner.

Liaising with
other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labor
required.

Diagnosing
problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.

Establishing
safety procedures and protocols that take the workers’ well-being into account.

Keeping abreast
of advancements in engineering and production, and sharing knowledge with
co-workers.

Identifying,
documenting, and reporting unsafe practices.

Drawing up
production schedules and budgets for projects.

Scheduling
meetings with relevant departments and stakeholders.

Follow
purchase/SCM dept. to receive critical materials against PR

Analyzing all
facets of production and making recommendations for improvement.

Obtaining any
materials and equipment as required for a smooth production process.

Strong
knowledge in heavy structural fabrication, precision machining components
fabrication sheet metal fabrication & its Assembly.

Proven
experience in the Heavy structural & sheet metal fabrication, Assembly,
integration & handling of heavy subsystem engineering field.

Selecting,
ordering and purchasing materials

Organizing the
repair and routine maintenance of production equipment

Control of
Assembly non-conformities/customer complaints & corrective actions and
Continual improvement on Assembly methods /tooling/etc.,

Handling,
Storage and preservation of parts in shop floor and tagging identification

Checking &
approving the Assembly process sequence and prepare process card (i.e Route
card)

Provide support
during heavy assembly painting movement

Knowledge in
checking & maintaining production documents as per AS9100 Rev D
requirements

Updating &
presenting department performance Indicator during MR meeting

Ability to
handle meeting with vendor for finalizing the major subcontract activities

Organize &
provide support during final testing of products

Provide support
during Packing the Unit and Dispatch From Factory

Strong
leadership abilities.

Good written
and verbal communication skills.

Ability to make
decisions under pressure.

Great attention
to detail and organizational skills.

Re-negotiating
timescales or schedules as necessary

Superb
analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

Desired
Candidate Profile B.E. Mechanical Engineering with 12- 18 years of solid
experience in Fabrication activities.
