About the Position
The DOCJT is seeking Full-time Housekeepers at their Richmond Campus. As Housekeepers, you’ll play crucial roles in maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable space for training areas as well as dormitories, offices, along common rooms.
This is much more than cleaning up. It’s an opportunity to help the training of law enforcement officers and ensure that employees, trainees, as well as guests, enjoy the best experience possible every day.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day tasks will comprise:
Bathrooms, cleaning spaces, dorm rooms, offices and public spaces.
Cleaning floors, such as cleaning, sanitising, washing and polishing fixtures and furniture.
Clean windows, taking out trash, cleaning windows, and stocking items.
Washing machines and related equipment.
Maintaining all equipment, tools and other equipment tidy and well-organised.
Maintaining safety and hygiene standards.
You’ll join an enthusiastic team that is proud to keep the campus clean and ready for everyday operations.
What You’ll Need
It’s a good thing! There is no prior knowledge or education is necessary. However, if you’ve had experience in housekeeping and can manage your time effectively or have excellent customer service abilities, that’s an added advantage.
Other helpful skills include:
Able to comply with the detailed instructions.
Able to lift large objects and be in a seated position for long periods.
Valid driver’s license.
Comfortable working with cleaning equipment and laundry machines.
Pay & Benefits
The starting salary amounts to $26,430.24 each year and includes the possibility of overtime pay for overtime hours.
