Applicants Age

  • No Age Limit
  • In case of Aged Person / Medically unfit, applicant can go with HELPER.
  • Applicant born after July 23, 2022 shall be considered as an infant in Hajj applications.

Eligibility

  • Never performed Hajj
  • Performed Hajj before 2017 in Govt. Scheme
  • Performed Hajj in Govt. scheme after 2017 – In that case he may perform Hajj on the basis of HAJJ-E-BADAL. Only allowed in Sponsorship Scheme.
  • Performed Hajj in Govt. scheme after 2017 and if he/she wishes to go again in Govt. Hajj Scheme 2024 – in that case he / she is not eligible. A male may however go as MEHRAM OF A LADY who has not performed Hajj OR can go in Private Hajj Scheme.
  • Mehram’s age should be 15 years or above
  • Performed Hajj in Pvt. scheme between 2017-2023 – In that case he/she is eligible to apply in Govt. Hajj Scheme 2024
  • Females cannot apply for Govt. hajj Scheme without Sharee Mehram, only Fiqh Jafaria females of age 45 yrs & above can travel without a mehram.
  • Females of any age are ELIGIBLE to go for Hajj without mehram, but in a group of females, Afidavit required (as per decision of Islamic Nazaryati Counsel: 6 -7 June 2023 section 232)




Group Leader

  • Group Leader must be an Adult Male or Female

Sponsorship

  • Applicant can apply on basis of remittances from abroad only (domestic remittance is not allowed)
  • Sponsorship Quota is on a basis of first-come-first-serve basis and no balloting will be done up to quota limit

  • In case USD remittance is not received in mentioned Bank Account, your application will not be submitted in Ministry’s Hajj Portal.
  • No cash deposit or transfer from FCY/RDA Accounts shall be allowed
  • Bank Charges/ taxes will be paid by Applicant/ Sponsor.
  • Field ’70’ Purpose code (sponsorship scheme of Hajj 2024)
  • Field ’71-A’ bank charges for remitter to be marked “OUR”
  • Field ’72’ Name, CNIC, Contact #, Bank Name along with Branch code will be required in SWIFT

*For Sponsorship Scheme: Locally purchased USD or funds from USD account maintained in Pakistan will not be accepted. Only remittance from abroad is acceptable in above mentioned account.




Documents Required

  • Valid CNIC Copy
  • Three Photographs
    • 4×3 Centimeter with light blue background should be obtained submitted glasses. (Polaroid and scanned photos are not allowed)
    • In case of women, photo wearing Scarf is mandatory i.e. head, neck and ears covered.
  • Original International Machine Readable Passport (IMRP) to be submitted at branch
    • Validity period of passport must not be less than December 16, 2024 or token of the new Passport
  • Next of Kin / Nominee CNIC copy & contact number (should not be going on Hajj)
  • Applicants applying for sponsorship can submit a fitness declaration on plain paper at their branch on the condition that they provide an undertaking to submit an attested certificate at the time of passport submission in the branch.
