Electrical Engineer – Pune

Main
Functions/Responsibilities:
1. Study
electrical circuit design document, electrical schematics and manual test
instruction procedure and completely understand PCBA functionality.
2. Perform
circuit simulation using software like PSpice, LTSpice, and/or Cadence etc.
3. Perform PCBA
testing and debugging using standard measurement equipment.
4. Analyze root
cause and instruct technician to perform PWA rework/repair
5. Analyze
electronic components to find suitable replacements.
6. Develop
technical documentation required for sustaining PCBA like design document,
manuals, test procedure etc.
7. Work with
Electrical CAD designers for preparing circuit schematic/PCBA layout, bill of
materials and review their work.
8. Provide bill
of materials and procure components for prototyping PCBA.
9. Perform
statistical analysis of data provided.
10. Prepare and
continuously share updates of the detailed project plan and progress of project
with other Schlumberger Product Centers.
Education:
Bachelor of
Engineering in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a premier Tier-2
college ( Preferably NITs or Deemed University) in India.
Work
Experience:
2 to 4 years
work experience in a similar position.
Skills
Required:
– Strong
technical knowledge of electrical/electronic circuit analysis, failure
investigation and analysis of electronic components and printed circuit
assembly boards.
– Strong
technical knowledge in electrical circuit simulation using PSpice, Cadence etc.
– Hands-on
experience in printed circuit assembly boards testing and debugging using
standard measurement equipment (such as digital multi-meter, power supply,
digital oscilloscope, function generator, logic analyzer).
– Knowledge and
experience of digital serial and parallel communication protocols such as
RS232, RS485, CAN etc
– Basic
statistical analysis.
– Excellent
communication skills both written and verbal.
Additional
Skills:
1. Knowledge /
understanding of grounding and shielding techniques and standards (EMI/EMC) for
keeping signal integrity in mixed signal boards.
2. Knowledge
and hands-on experience of programming of devices such as microprocessors,
FPGAs

VHDL

Objective:
Develop cost-effective tooling designs and bills of material for manufacturing.
1. Review new
or current parts for formability and perform calculations to determine forming
sequence, proper machine, and wire size.
2. Use CAD
software to produce tool and tool assembly drawings.
3. Use DEFORM
simulation software to analyse forming techniques and die designs.
4. Complete
tooling BOM in the engineering system database.
6. Work with Manufacturing
Dept in reviewing and resolving manufacturing issues on shop floor for current
and new parts including review manufacturing feedback requests.
7. Make
appropriate changes to tooling prints and BOMs, issuing ECNs to the appropriate
departments.
8. Maintain
engineering standards and best practices.
9. Perform tool
standards and tool life reviews.
10. Assist
Process Engineering and Cost Estimating as required.
11. Prepare
tool, product & process design.
12. Prepare
feasibility report for the enquiry from customer.
13. Adopt
advance tool design.
14. Aim for
optimum tool life
15. Attend
technical problems in machine
16. Establish
the process.
17. Adopt
continuous improvement practice.
18. Carry out
value engineering project.
19. Carry out
abnormal tool life study and implement corrective action.
20.
Standardization of process and tools to reduce the inventory.
21. Control the
drawing as per process
22. Updae the
drawing as per Process.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Education:
Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: 3+
years of progressive tool engineering responsibility
Skills: Cold
forming principles, CAD software, knowledge of special quality requirements,
general forming tolerances, and raw materials and manufacturing operations.
