Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO), operating under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), Government of Pakistan, has announced multiple contract-based job vacancies through the Open Testing Service (OTS).

LESCO is responsible for distributing and supplying electricity to over 4.88 million consumers across Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Okara, and Nankana Districts, employing more than 19,000 staff.

Key Instructions & General Conditions

1. All positions are on contract basis, initially for 6 months (probation), extendable based on performance.
2. The jobs are non-pensionable and non-transferable — no long-term benefits apply.
3. Open Testing Service (OTS) will conduct the recruitment process; 50% of the test fee will be paid by the candidate.
4. Candidates must possess degrees verified by HEC with a cumulative GPA equivalent to the required standard.
5. Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous Body employees must apply through proper channels with an NOC.
6. Applicants holding foreign degrees must submit an equivalency certificate from HEC.
7. Computer professionals having PEC/NEC registration (if applicable) will be given preference.
8. Candidates with relevant LESCO experience will be given priority.
9. Minimum passing marks: 50% in written test.
10. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/test; no TA/DA will be admissible.
11. LESCO reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or cancel recruitment without assigning reasons.
12. Submission of fake documents will result in termination and legal action.
13. Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
