Moonis Elahi, son of Punjab Chief Minister Pervez Elahi, tweeted about CTI jobs in Punjab’s public sector colleges on his official account. Soon, the official advertisement will be made public. He states in his tweet that the Chief Minister of Punjab Ch Parvez Elahi has approved the hiring of 3650 College Teaching Interns (CTIs) through a merit-based competitive process to address the severe teacher shortage in public sector colleges. The Punjab Higher Education Department will hold these positions. In most cases, Punjab has no age limit for CTI jobs.

A Master’s Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree (16 years) in a relevant field are the minimum educational requirement. A master’s or doctoral degree is preferred but not required.

The current advertisement for CTI jobs has not been made public yet; however, as CM Punjab has approved the hiring of CTIs in colleges, it may be made public soon.
