College Teaching Interns Jobs 2025

The Higher Education Department (HED) Punjab has officially announced 8,084 College Teaching Interns (CTIs) to be recruited across government colleges in Punjab for the academic session 2025–2026. These positions are purely temporary but provide an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and higher-qualified candidates to gain teaching experience along with a handsome monthly stipend.

Eligibility Criteria

• BS Colleges: MS/M.Phil/Ph.D. in relevant subject
• Intermediate Colleges: Master’s degree or BS (4 years) with at least 2nd Division
• Age Limit: No age limit (open for young and experienced candidates)
• Quota: Male, female, disabled, and transgender candidates can apply

Stipend & Duration

• Monthly Stipend: Rs. 50,000 (fixed)
• Duration:
  • Intermediate Colleges: 7 months (Oct 2025 – Apr 2026)
  • BS Colleges: 10 months (Oct 2025 – Jul 2026) or until permanent lecturers are appointed

Merit Criteria

• Academic Qualification – 87 marks
• Higher than Master’s degree (M.Phil/Ph.D.) – 5 marks
• Position Holders – 5 marks
• Interview/Presentation – 3 marks

Important Dates

• 16 September 2025 – Vacant posts list published on college notice boards & CTI portal
• 16–19 September 2025 – Online application submission
• 22 September 2025 – Tentative merit list displayed
• 23–25 September 2025 – Complaints/objections period
• 25 September 2025 – Final merit list published
• 29 September – 1 October 2025 – Interviews of shortlisted candidates
• 1 October 2025 (Evening) – Final list uploaded
• 7 October 2025 – Joining of selected interns

Key Rules for CTI Interns

• 2 casual leaves allowed per month
• No TA/DA for interviews or duties
• Placement is temporary (not permanent government employment)
• Experience certificate issued after successful completion
• Fake documents = cancellation & stipend recovery
• Interns cannot form unions/associations
