Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Automotive Polisher to join our team. The Automotive Polisher is responsible for restoring and enhancing vehicle finishes through machine polishing, compounding, and buffing. This role plays a critical part in ensuring every vehicle leaves the shop with a showroom- quality appearance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform paint correction, compounding, polishing, and buffing using dual- action and rotary polishers.

Remove swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation, and surface imperfections from vehicle paint.

Apply finishing products such as sealants, waxes, or ceramic coatings (if trained).

Maintain knowledge of polishing tools, pad types, and compounds to match various paint systems.

Protect and mask off sensitive areas before polishing (e.g., trim, rubber seals, emblems).

Work on various vehicle types including luxury, classic, and performance cars.

Ensure consistent and high- quality results that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Clean, inspect, and maintain polishing tools and equipment.

Adhere to all safety and cleanliness standards in the detailing bay.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

1+ years of hands- on experience polishing vehicles in a detailing or body shop environment.

Strong understanding of automotive paint systems and correction techniques.

Ability to use high- speed buffers and DA polishers without causing damage (burns, holograms).

Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physically fit and able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

Experience with ceramic coating or PPF (Paint Protection Film) applications.

Knowledge of wet sanding and advanced paint correction.

Familiarity with detailing software or work order systems.

Certification in automotive detailing (IDA or similar) is a plus.
