Academics and Military Training:
- MBBS The contestants who are selected will receive five years of training in the Army Medical College AMC Rawalpindi or Combined Military Hospital CMH Lahore Medical College.
- BDS BDS candidates will receive 4 years of BDS training in the Army Medical College AMC Rawalpindi.
- Military Training: After completing professional MBBS and BDS training, applicants must complete two weeks of basic Military Training (BMT) at the Pakistan Military Academy PMA, Kakul.
Eligibility Criteria to Join Pak Army:
- You must satisfy the following criteria for eligibility to be a part of the Pakistan Army as a Medical Cadet:
- Candidates must not be married.
- All Pakistani citizens are eligible to apply.
- The applicant’s age must be between 17 and 21 years old and 3 months of rest between the upper and lower age brackets.
- The weight of the candidate should be in line with Body Mass Index.
- Minimum height for candidates 5” to 4″ (162.5 cm)
Required Education:
- The applicant must have attained 70% marks in the FSc (Pre-Medical) or a minimum grade of C in the A-Level.
- Candidates who reside in the provinces of Balochistan, Sind (District Tharparkar, Omar Kot), Azad Kashmir (Upper Neelam Valley), Northern Areas, and FATA can apply for the position with scores of 65% or more.
- Candidates who have completed O & A levels will require an appropriate certificate as well as mark-conversion form (IBCC) Minister of Education Islamabad and should be able to attach the certificate along with the application form.
- Students who have completed 1st Year with a minimum of 70% marks may also apply for admission by sending the “Hope Certificate”. The Hope Certificate from your institution. It is required to provide the result card/ mark sheet within a week of the 2 2nd year. If you do not score more than 70% mark in the 2 2nd year, you will be disqualified.
