WAPDA Internship Program
The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority is an independent and autonomous entity belonging to the Federal Government of Pakistan that ensures the availability of electricity and water in the state. It was established following the nation’s independence in 1958, through in an Act of Parliament.
WAPDA is the owner of the biggest dams within Pakistan and actively monitors and manages the needs and demands of the country’s domestic and commercial sectors. The company is also planning to build five more multi-purpose dams in order to meet the ever-growing demands of the power industry.
WAPDA is a company that aims to create safe and clean energy that is accessible to Pakistan’s citizens, to ensure that electricity prices are reduced while considering the demands of the customers. The company operates an independent network throughout Pakistan.
