Help Desk Manager (Direct Hire) – Come grow with this expanding company and team! This industry is booming and and this company has a niche. Productivity did not waiver during the pandemic with employees working from home. As a result, the company will continue with almost all employees working from home as the permanent go forward plan. This means all of IT is growing and expanding to support more employees and now more employees in an ongoing virtual environment. Come me part of this growth and become the Help Desk Manager.
This is a Permanent Direct Hire Help Desk Manager position with one of our clients in the Greater Des Moines area.
What you will need for this role:
– 5-10 years of IT help desk experience (office 360, active directory, using a ticket tracking systems and exceptional analytical and customer service skills)
– 2-5 years of formal IT help desk management experience.
– Prior experience helping to design and implement help desk strategy to meet the changing business. Ideal candidate will have experience supporting remote workers from home and lots of virtualization options.
– Prior experience working with outside vendors and third parties. Have the ability or prior experience to evaluate IT solutions, software, hardware, services to compare and contrast with current inhouse solutions and present a ROI business case for a decision and selection.
This company has excellent IT leaders and this Help Desk Manager will come in and manage a small team. But, then quickly will be able to hire a few additional team members and likely will double the team size in about a year.
